        Born in South Africa, I studied Middle Eastern History, Hebrew and Arabic in England, lived there and worked in the field of education and as a company director for close on thirty years. Now I live and work in Israel.

        I have been intimately involved with language teaching and translation for 25 years.

        The services I offer:

      • 1. In the academic field:

        Translation and editing of: books, academic papers, articles. v BA, MA, M.Sc. and Doctoral assignments and dissertations. v Specialist in the arts & humanities - education, history, politics, jurisprudence, criminology, psychology, counseling, art therapy.

      • 2. In the business field:

        Translation of: letters, documents, articles, manuals, handbooks, etc., including general upgrading and adaptation to the mentality and way of thinking of people working in the English-speaking world.

        Teaching: specially tailored English programs on all aspects of language - speaking, reading and writing - to meet your specific needs. The programs can be adapted to suit all levels of proficiency, from beginners wanting to improve their comprehension skills to advanced speakers who need to brush up a particular area of their English.

        I work both with individuals and with groups of up to 15 students.

        Language support for all aspects of your business/activity that require English: preparing talks & presentations, designing brochures, writing reports, letters, international communication, including telephone and e-mail; also: English for special purposes, like assistance with business English, the language of marketing, English for the professions.

        Consultation on cross-cultural communication: advice on the language conventions, cultural habits and business etiquette of people you will encounter in the U.K. and the US to facilitate your communication with them and help you to achieve your objectives more effectively.
